24th Firework Frenzy

For the 24th Celebration, we went to a parade at Willow Park.

Here's the Chlo wondering about waiting for the parade to start. She's showing off her new shirt, which by the way, she likes to bite the sleeves.

We went to a church parking lot to watch the fireworks. Evidently a lot of people had the same idea. It started to rain but the kids still had lots of fun. Uncle Micheal is playing the "I'm gonna get your toes" bit with her here. She loves it so much that she usually just gives him her toes.

Chloee wishes she could wear mom's shoes. She walked around in them on the sidewalk for a good amount of time. It's amazing that she can even walk in them, they are like 5 times too big. She looks like Ronald McDonald.

This says it all. They all walked to the edge of the sidewalk and just stood there in awh.

Riverton Rugrats

We went down and visited Josh's mom (Kathy) this weekend. They were doing a birthday party for Tyler and Rachael on Monday so we headed down on Sunday. It was very fun. In this picture, Chloee was NOT eating her food due to the all too amusing duo of Tyler and Rachael.

This is the adorable birthday cake that Kathy made for the kids' birthday. It was very labor intensive but ended up looking FANTASTIC.

Chloee at the water party, enjoying just being outside with all of the other kids!

What you see right here is what she wanted to do for HOURS ON END. Kathy can attest to the fact that I was chasing her on the stairs majority of the time, or at least someone was. In Grandma Kathy's house there are stairs no matter where you are. She can crawl up them but cannot come down them. She refuses to go down them crawling backwards, she wants to walk down them (like a big girl). Only problem is that her legs aren't long enough yet and this results in falling down them. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

Here's Chloee and Grandma, the end of the day, Chloee, not so happy.... Grandma, who didn't go to bed until midnight and got up at 3 am, still peachier than Chloee, go figure!

Park Adventures

Chloee riding on Kai and Kennet's bike. She loved every minute of it. Aunt Amy held her arm and behind to keep her stable. She was fascinated with it and screamed when it was time to get off, BIG SHOCK, I know!

We played in the water at the canal. At first it was really cold but then Chloee calmed down and we swung her around in it. She got wet but had lots of fun.

As you can see Chloee was confused by which bag was mine and Amy's. She started pilfering through Amy's bag looking for some food or treats that she could hoard for herself.

After she got caught, "Oh, um... does this sweet face look like it's doing anything suspicious !" how can you resist that ever so cute smile?

Gangster Chloee is here to stay. Whenever she is with her cousins, Kai and Kennet, she thinks she is one of the boys. She does everything that they do, it is really cute. She is wearing one of the boys' hats here and as you can see you don't want to mess with her. (scary right) She kind of looks like a boy in her pj's and that hat with no hair showing. Oh well!!!

Sabers and Snowshoeing

Here is Chloee and daddy playing with their light sabers (the rolls at the end of wrapping paper).

As you can see, Chloee is no youngling or padawon learner, she is a Master Jedi teaching her daddy (padawon learner) how to beat off the Sith Lord. Daddy has a lot to learn from her.

Snowshoeing is what she does best. She takes all of the plastic bags out of the drawer in the kitchen and puts them on the floor and then steps on them until they stick to her feet and she runs around the house with them on. She falls on the tile, carpet, you name it and she looks at you like you did it to her, How Cruel! You can barely see the sacks on her feet here.

The little snowshoer decided to take a break and play with the ice cream maker. You can see the sacks on both feet. She throws an absolute FIT when you take them off her feet. Oh the joys of a little girl with too much estrogen!!! There's not enough room in this house for both Chloee and I. We are all too much alike!!!

Misc. Fun

This is Chloee on Father's Day, as you can see her shirt says it all. Her heart does belong to her daddy. You can tell by the scowl on her face that she did not want the picture taken. I thought it was cute on her though.

Here's the toots and I. We decided to be fashionable and wear our hats together while we went out to the Providence celebration. We had lots of fun, I dropped Josh's pizza on the grass before he could even eat it and of course it was face down. Chloee walked around the park enjoying us chasing after her.

This is the day, June 8th, that Chloee walked for the first time. It was so fun and exciting to see. As you can see in the picture she is holding a care bear (which she calls "baby"). She would only walk if she was holding him, pretty good balance if you ask me.

This ever so funny picture demonstrates what we call the "One Eyed Chloee". When she is sitting in her high chair eating and if you go behind her she whips her head around and looks at you through the hole in the back with that one eye. It's kind of scary when you're not expecting it.

Daddy Daughter Time. These two are the best of friends and love, love, love to spend time together. Josh gives her piggy back rides and she squeals the entire time. Chloee has become a lot more affectionate I would say. She will give hugs and kisses freely, IF SHE'S IN THE MOOD AND IF IT IS HER IDEA AND ON HER TIME FRAME!!! That doesn't sound like her does it?

A Week Full of Fun

Daddy and Chloee watching the Parade on the 4th of July. Obviously, Josh is really enjoying it!

Chloee rode what was called "Grandpa's Train" at the square after the parade. She had her protector Kai go with her. When we first put her in she cried and then when we took her out when it was all done, she screamed!!!

All of the grandkids went to the Willow Park Zoo on Friday. I pushed Chloee around in her stroller and she squealed "EEEHEEHEE" at all of the animals, she is fascinated with the peacock.

On Saturday, we went to the Cruise-In on Main Street. We went with Amy, Micheal and the boys. Here they are playing peek-a-boo with her through her stroller. She loves them, they have so much fun together.

On the 4th we went and bought fireworks at Maceys and the cashier gave Chloee a balloon. Josh tied it to her shorts and she ran around hitting it and crying when she lost it. You can tell by the look on her face that she is very happy. We did fireworks that night with my family and the kids loved them.

Slip-N-Slide Fun

All of the grandkids: Kai, Stefan, Kennet, Sierra and Chloee
I held Chloee's shoulders as she went down, she laughed and looked like a frog the way she was sitting the whole way down, it was very cute.
Chloee waded in grandma's ladybug pool, waiting for her turn on the slide.

We went Slip-n-sliding today at Grandma Renae's house. All of the grandkids were there. We put two of the slides together. Unfortunately daddy couldn't be there because he was at work. Chloee loved it, I am sore all over from going down so many times. It was fun, Uncle Micheal pushed us down seeing as how we couldn't get a good start on it. Chloee loves the water and looks so cute in her swimming suit!

Chloee's 1st Birthday!!!

This is Chloee on her 1st Birthday. It was so much fun to have family come over and see her. She loves her little cousins and of course screamed a lot! IT WAS EXCITING!!!
