Josh was changing the oil in both the vehicles and asked Chloee if she wanted to help. As always, this little girl loves to do spend time with her dad, so of course her answer was yes.
Josh had Chloee put some oil around the top of the oil filter. Wow, I don't even know if that's what it is or not but you get the idea. She had to have a little help because she wasn't putting enough on.
She was under the car using the ratchet, helping Josh put the bolts back on. She was actually holding and turning the ratchet. I am so grateful for a husband who loves his children so much and wants to spend time with them, even if they aren't boys. He said when he got to help his dad with something like this he was only allowed to hand him tools, he could never help. I'm so happy that he is not like that at all, he wants the girls to get down in the dirt and help. Josh said that if they mess something up, it's nothing that can't be fixed. They aren't just tool hander-outers, they are doing it WITH dad.
Josh wants the girls to know how to change their own oil. He's going to have them help him restore Ruby, his 1967 Ford pick up, when they get older. Yeah, and he says he is scared for when they start dating... well, you're not making them any less attractive by teaching them this stuff. Guys love that about a girl.

Way to go Chloee! You make an adorable mechanic. You can help grandpa and I fix our cars now!
I think I need to hire her out to work on Roxy. What a great little mechanic and I love that Josh wants her to be involved and help out. Yeah, that is so not going to drive the boys away but attract them. Well, at least she'll have a cool truck to plow them down in!
