Yesterday morning, Josh went out to feed Sam, but all of his food was still there. Weird! Josh went to work, I went out to see where he was and I couldn't find him anywhere. I finally hit the west side of the house and the gate was open and Sam was gone. NOT lost, STOLEN! The gate was still open and it was swinging IN, not out. If we had accidentally left it unlocked, it would have been swinging OUT from him pushing it to get out. Besides that, we checked all the gates that night before we went to bed.
Chloee is so distraught, she cries a lot. He was her little buddy. Who would steal from a child? Obviously, a sicko that has no conscious anyway! I called the cops and made them do a report on it, I called Animal Control, gave them the information on him, we put up 50 fliers last night. We put an ad on KSL and we are going to put it in the paper. We even have a $100 reward out there for him. We miss him so much.
Josh is beside himself. He had a hard time bonding to him because when he was a child, someone poisoned his dog and it just tore him apart. He didn't want the same thing to happen with Sam, but he got over it and bonded to him a lot. Sam loved him, they always played together. Josh wants to hunt down whoever did this and strangle them. I agree. Sam was like the son that Josh never had.
Our house is a sad, sad place right now. It's not like you can just go buy another one and they can replace the one you had. It's not like it was Chloee's bike they stole and we can just go buy a new one. He had a certain personality and we all bonded to him like part of the family!

Yes, it is true. We got a dog. I know all of you who know me are thinking this is some joke, but it's not. I am terrified (that's an understatement) of dogs. When I was little, a dog bit holes through my top lip, therefore, I am horribly scared of them. When my mom told my sister, Annie, that we got a dog, she said, "Well, Hell must has froze over." Too funny!
We found this cute little black lab puppy in the paper and he's a pure bred. He was born on Valentine's Day and we've had him for about 3 weeks. We named him Sam. Josh has always said he wants to name one of our boys Samuel Adams. I say people will think of the beer, he says the founding father... blah, blah, blah.... Never going to happen, so that's the dogs name. We call him, Sambo, Little Black Sambo, Sammy and lots of other names that Josh calls him.
These are just a few of the latest things I have put up as decorations in the house. I got that star from The Weed Man, I've talked about him in earlier posts. Posted by Kimberlee at 9:04 AM 5 comments

I wanted to put a tribute up in my house to Micheal. I love him so much and I miss him terribly. More than words can even begin to explain. He was an amazing man, husband, father, you name it. He was so much more than a "brother-in-law" to us. He was Josh's best friend, both of our brother, not "in-law" and they were the couple we did everything with. For crying out loud, when he was here for his 2 week R&R in January, we spent around 9 of the 14 days, at least, together, maybe even more. Posted by Kimberlee at 2:21 PM 9 comments
